The VORTEX Cleaner makes clever use of the geometry of its patented amplifier horn.

It does not generate destructive detonation by igniting from 0 to 100% as is usual with detonation devices.

Instead, it generates MACH 5 hypersonic sound from non-critical subsonic sound, thus causing no external explosion, but rather an amplification in the desired pressure and velocity ranges.
